Founded In 1864, the brewery was established as a sake brewery for the Suzaka clan, and began supplying sake to the lord of the clan.Since then, from the 2nd generation to the 5th generation, we have inherited the intention of the first brewery, Tokusaburo Endo, to "brew delicious sake" and continue to make sake.
Although the main brand "Yoro Masamune" was awarded the Medal with Yellow Ribbon in the past, it was not possible to ride the sake boom that occurred in the 1970s, and as a small sake brewery, it desperately continued to preserve the taste.
In 1982, the 6th generation, Hidesaburo Endo, became the head of the brewery at the young age of 21. At that time, there were only three employees.
While starting to improve existing products, in 1988, one of the main brands, Keiryu, was released. After that, we announced new brands one after another, and released the popular “Asa Shibori”, “Domuroku”, “Naotora” and “Char”.
The announcement on radio and television led to the entry into the mail-order business, and through online sales, the name "Keiryu" became known throughout the country.
In 1993, he won the Nagano Prefectural Governor's Award at the Sake Competition. Starting from this year, we have exhibited at various appraisals and competitions, and have received high praise every year. In 2004, he exhibited for the first time at the international competition "Monde Selection" and won a gold medal.
In 2014, we celebrated the 150th anniversary of our founding. Currently, we are gathering support not only in Japan but also overseas. Our goal is to continue to establish the Endo Sake Brewery brands, such as Keiryu, Naotora, and Char, in the local market.
We will continue to devote ourselves to the creed of "delicious sake brewing" that fuses tradition and innovation.
Sake is made by humans and bacteria. As sake, which is a living organism, evolves along with the growth of the brewer, the taste of the sake will accumulate with each passing year.
